I have been associated with this wonderful breed since I went to live in Zimbabwe (formerly Rhodesia) in 1986. My connection with the breed has brought me many challenges, some triumphs, great friendships and an enduring passion for researching the history of the breed -- both the dogs and the people associated with them. Political and social upheavals in Zimbabwe influenced us to sadly leave that country in 2000, and we now live in another beautiful part of the world, on the Sunshine Coast, in Queensland, Australia.
